How traderFi Tournament Rankings and Winners Are Calculated

Tournament Rankings

Players normally begin a tournament with the same virtual trading balance unless the tournament rules state otherwise.

Your final result is based on the ranking method displayed in the tournament details.

Ranking factors

Rankings may be calculated using:

  • Final virtual account equity
  • Realized profit and loss
  • Unrealized profit and loss
  • Percentage return
  • Tournament-specific performance rules

The tournament page should explain which method applies.

When are results finalized?

Final results may be calculated after:

  • The tournament timer ends
  • Remaining positions are processed
  • Final simulated prices are received
  • Rankings are calculated
  • Prohibited activity is reviewed

Leaderboard results shown during the game may be temporary.

What happens to open positions?

Depending on the tournament rules, positions that remain open may:

  • Be automatically closed
  • Be valued at the final available simulated price
  • Be included as unrealized profit or loss
  • Be treated according to the tournament’s closing rules

What happens in a tie?

Tournament tie-breaking rules may consider:

  • The player who reached the result first
  • Highest realized profit
  • Lowest drawdown
  • Lowest overall exposure
  • Highest number of completed trades

The applicable tie-breaking method should be displayed in the tournament rules.

Result review

traderFi may review tournament activity before issuing prizes or rewards.

Prohibited activity may result in disqualification or a ranking adjustment.
