To improve your Consistency Score, focus on maintaining steady profits, controlling losses and drawdowns, keeping trade sizes consistent, and avoiding relying on one or two large trades to reach your profit target.
The Consistency Score evaluates multiple factors, including trading activity, profit and loss, drawdown, average winning and losing trades, and the distribution of profits across trading days.
For the Free Toro100 Challenge, you need a minimum Consistency Score of 50%, at least 200 completed round trades, and $6,000 in simulated profits to meet the challenge requirements.
A round trade consists of an opening transaction and its corresponding closing transaction. For example, 30 individual transactions may represent only 15 completed round trades.
Reaching the profit target alone is not enough. You must meet all challenge requirements and comply with the applicable risk-management rules.
Tips to improve your score
- Aim for steady profits across multiple trading days.
- Keep your position sizes and risk levels consistent.
- Avoid large drawdowns and excessive losses.
- Avoid generating most of your profits from a single trade or day.
- Continue trading normally while building sufficient trading history to meet the required number of completed round trades.
The Consistency Score is a proprietary metric, and its exact formula is not publicly disclosed.
